Eucalyptus Ohanami ( Flower Viewing ) Party

At last, Eucalyptus trees have some flowers in my garden. It has taken five years since I imported eucalyptus seeds from Australia. These amazing flowers moved me very much.
A small seed come from Southern Hemisphere, overcame against strong wind and rainfall and grow up here in Japan. Bloom of Eucalyptus sideroxylon rosea is the first in Japan! It is a miracle. The koalas on branches are pleased to see eucalyptus flowers.

Ohanami is very popular entertainment for Japanese. In Spring, Sakura (the cherry trees) are in full blossom, and people enjoy outdoor parties, and celebrate that spring has come. They sit on mats under the cherry trees, and they eat, drink, and sing, while viewing the cherry blossoms. Now we sould have Eucalyptus Ohanami Party. Please enjoy yourself.
